Erika Gomez

Design and Innovation

Erika is a creative leader with 20 years of diverse experience in global corporations. Her career focus has been in delivering program innovation projects and business impact through meaningful experiences and iconic products through the seamless integration of marketing, brand and design.

She began her career with Coca-Cola developing structural packaging solutions for global brands.  Then, worked on various innovation roles focused on merchandising, packaging, cooling equipment and retail systems delivering design and innovation solutions for the top global brands.  Then moved to a marketing innovation role, with the focus of building sustainable and shared value strategies for Minute Maid, and later-on building brand extensions for Coca-Cola and a nutrition focused master brand, NutriBoost, for the ASEAN market.  In her last role at Danone, she was the Global Innovation Director for baby formula focusing on mid and long term innovation for consumerized solutions on formula, packaging and product formats.  Currently is starting a consultant role, using design innovation as a business solution.

Beyond her professional career, she has also been an associate professor at the Product Design undergrad and master program, at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, US.

Erika holds a M.S in Design from Georgia Institute of Technology, a Sustainability Leadership certificate from Emory University in Atlanta, US and a B.S. in Product Design from Bolivariana University in Medellin, Colombia where she is originally from. Erika currently lives in Amsterdam.

Tina Unterlaender

Director Innovation, VW Credit, Inc.

Tina Unterlaender joined VW Credit, Inc. in 2018 - the financial services arm of Volkswagen Group of America – as the new Director of Innovation. She is responsible for building up VW Credit’s innovation lab, defining the innovation strategy & roadmap and introducing a new innovation culture at this financial services institution. Her team focuses on innovation projects at the intersection of Fintech and Mobility.
